Short version: Bellos Pixel Magic works without user accounts. Photos, drawings, progress, backups, and preferences stay local. Special Event requests only a signed schedule and verified event artwork. The ad-supported version includes Google Mobile Ads SDK.

1. Overview

Bellos Pixel Magic is a general-audience pixel coloring and free drawing app. It works without user accounts and without BellosatoTech servers for photos, drawings, progress, or app preferences.

The app includes Google Mobile Ads SDK for banner and interstitial advertising. BellosatoTech does not add its own analytics server to this app.

2. Data BellosatoTech Does Not Collect

BellosatoTech does not receive, sell, rent, or store on its servers:

Photos selected for import
Generated pixel grids, drawings, or coloring progress
Saved artwork exported to the device gallery
Sound, haptic, cursor, or sharing preferences
Contacts, microphone audio, precise location, messages, or account credentials

The app does not require registration, login, or a BellosatoTech account.

3. Local Photo Import

Photo import runs locally on the device. The app reads only the image file selected by the user, supports PNG, JPEG, and WebP files up to 8 MB, converts the image on-device into a numbered pixel grid and palette, and does not upload the original photo to BellosatoTech.

Imported levels saved by the app are derived data: grid cells, palette colors, dimensions, and local progress. The original photo file is not stored by default. Imported artwork is titled generically in the app to avoid retaining personal information from filenames.

SVG import is blocked because SVG files can contain active content or metadata that is not needed for this app.

4. Local Data Stored on the Device

The app may store this data locally:

Local data remains on the device unless the user shares, exports, clears app data, or uninstalls the app. Android app backup is disabled by the app manifest.

5. Portable Backup

The Backup screen can create a portable recovery code or .bpbackup file containing the local profile, settings, coloring progress, imported grids, completed artwork records, medals, recent saved exports, and Free Draw saves available at that time.

Backup creation and validation run on the device. BellosatoTech does not receive or host recovery codes. A recovery code is compressed and integrity-checked, but it is not encrypted. Anyone who receives it may be able to restore its contents, so users should keep recovery codes and backup files private.

Copying, saving, or sharing a backup is initiated by the user. Clipboard providers, storage locations, and external apps selected by the user operate under their own privacy terms.

6. Saving and Sharing

When the user saves an artwork on Android 10 or newer, the app may write a JPEG export to the device Pictures collection using Android MediaStore. This action is initiated by the user.

When the user shares an artwork, the app may create a temporary JPEG file in app cache and pass it to WhatsApp or the Android share sheet. The selected external app handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy. BellosatoTech does not receive the shared image.

7. Special Events

When the user opens Special Event, the app requests a signed static schedule and, when needed, one WebP artwork from games.bellosatotech.com. The request is used to verify the official event time and download the selected artwork. Events may have weekly, monthly, or other signed durations. The app does not send the user's nickname, photos, drawings, progress, medals, recovery code, or advertising identifier.

As with a normal website request, the hosting provider may process standard technical data such as IP address, user agent, request timestamp, and requested file path for delivery, security, abuse prevention, and technical logs. The verified artwork is cached locally for offline use. After a phone restart, the event requires one connection to verify time again.

8. Website Link

The Settings screen includes a Website button that opens https://games.bellosatotech.com/ in the user's external browser. The browser and website may process standard technical data needed to load pages, such as IP address, user agent, and request timestamps.

9. Sound and Haptic Feedback

Sound feedback is generated locally with Web Audio. Haptic feedback uses device vibration or the Android haptics API when available and enabled. The app does not access the microphone and does not record audio.

10. Advertising

This ad-supported version uses Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google Mobile Ads SDK may process technical data for advertising, fraud prevention, security, diagnostics, and reporting, including data described by Google in its Google Play data disclosure for Google Mobile Ads SDK.

BellosatoTech configures this app as a general-audience app, not as child-directed. Publisher privacy personalization is disabled in the app's ad requests, and the app manifest removes the Android Advertising ID permission. Google and installed Google components may still process data according to Google's policies and the choices available to the user.

11. Deletion and Retention

BellosatoTech cannot remotely view, recover, or delete local app data because it is not sent to BellosatoTech servers.

Users can remove local app data by deleting saved items where available, clearing app storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the app. Temporary share files are scheduled for deletion after sharing.

12. Security

The app rejects SVG image import, converts supported raster images locally, and limits native file sharing to app-created temporary files. Portable backups are validated before local data is replaced, and a failed restore attempts to preserve the previous local state. No local-only app can guarantee protection against someone with full access to the device, so users should use the operating system screen lock if imported images or backups are sensitive.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, the effective date will be updated and, where appropriate, notice will be provided in the app or store listing.
